Accreditation Committee

The Accreditation Committee directs IACA’s professional activities. It can consist of up to 16 members depending on the decision to establish subsidiaries and affiliates. Its composition allows experts of all stakeholders to participate in the accreditation system of the Republic of Slovenia in such a way that no interest can prevail. IACA directors and staff responsible for the individual areas of accreditation are members of the functional accreditation committee, with the remaining members appointed by the IACA Board of Directors. The Accreditation Committee reconciles its professional basis and interpretation with foreign practice and accepts professional interpretation documents necessary for the interpretation and interpretation of individual accreditation requirements and procedures. At the initiative of the Director or the Board of Directors of subsidiaries and affiliates, to comment on the professional issues of the certification system or the implementation of the certification process. The accreditation committee creates sectorial committees and coordinates work if necessary. The Sector Committee is made up of experts in a selected area of specialization, whose composition ensures a balance of interests.
